Hello! I'm Dawn.  I'm married to my high school sweetheart and have a daughter and son.  That is really my full time job and something I wanted to do all my life...be a wife and mom.  I enjoy

palm trees, flip flops (would wear them year round if I didn't live in the midwest!), garage sales, resale shops, Goodwill stores (I'm always looking for something used before I head for something new!) organizing, anything retro or vintage, budgeting (call me strange), warm, coastal locales, vacationing, especially DISNEY (including the planning part!) and hanging out with my husband and kids. We are true homebodies and love to just hang out at home with pizza and a movie or an episode of Leverage for the 237th time.

This blog is just about some little things that make me happy in day to day life.  I think life goes a bit more smoothly if we concentrate on the little blessings.  They somehow turn into the big ones!  It also brings about a more content and thankful heart.  Now, obviously, the people in my family are my most favorite, happy little things, but I choose to keep their stuff more private.  This blog is what I feel comfortable sharing with the general public! ;)
